February 1, 2011 Board Meeting Agenda Item #13 Title APPROVAL OF SPRING ARTS SHOW, 2011 GRANT PROPOSAL TO THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION FOR THE CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT Description COMPETITIVE:  Grant funds of $3665 will allow the Curriculum & Instruction Department to produce the annual county Spring Art Shows for students in visual art classes.  The purpose of the art shows is to exhibit, recognize, and celebrate the achievements of students in visual art classes. Recommendation That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Spring Arts Show 2011 grant proposal.
